Hal Jepsen war eigentlich Surfer und ab 1970 Surffilme-Macher. 1978 drehte er einen  Skateboard-Spielfilm “Skateboard Madness” der 1985 im ZDF ausgestrahlt wurde und vermutlich der erste Skateboard-Film war der überhaupt im deutschen Fernsehen lief. Diese Aufnahmen müssen kurz vorher entstanden sein und passen perfekt in unsere Kategorie “Oldschool Skateboarding”

Kommt an Board – Es weht wieder frischer Wind im Rollbrettsport! Dank dieser streng limitierten Boards als Hommage an unsere Teamfahrer, Niklas Speer von Cappeln und David Marlo Conrads, die sich für die Vollendung unserer Skatevideo Trilogie „Rollen Aller“ bis zum bitteren Ende aufopfern werden – AALe Achtung!!! RESPEKT geht natürlich auch an den Rest des ganzen Teams raus, ohne Euch wäre AAL dies nicht möglich;)

We found this film in “The Museum of Classic Chicago Television . The two clips from “Way to go” we posted two weeks ago also from this museum.

Sehr schön, wie der in Singapur lebende Streetartist TR853-1 aka Trase-1 seine Stencil-Art-Skateboarder in der Stadt plaziert. Besonders schön finde ich die Bilder die erst bei richtigem Sonnenstand Sinn machen. Besucht seinen Blog , ich für meinen Teil bin schwer beeindruckt!

[...] The original idea behind the video was to show how various men of plank riding notoriety shred their home city on a daily basis, basically I wanted to show the opposite of a filtered hammer-laden video and give a tangible picture that everyday skaters can relate to.
